Sale of Special Hauling Permits at Toll Plazas Discontinued
IMPORTANT THRUWAY INFORMATION:
Since January 1, 2010, Special Hauling Permits were no longer issued at Toll Plazas. Customers interested in applying for a Special Hauling Permit must either contact a Permit Service or register online via the Thruway Over-Dimensional Permit System (TOPS).
Customers without Internet access may contact the Special Hauling Permit Unit at (518) 436-2793.
Vehicles attempting to enter the Thruway System without a valid Special Hauling Permit after December 31, 2009 will be directed off the Thruway System by State Police.
