There are 27 Travel Plazas located at convenient intervals on the Thruway system. All food-and-fuel centers are open 24 hours daily and offer parking, diesel fuel, bagged ice, public restrooms (including family assist restrooms equipped for persons with disabilities), ATMs (Automated Teller Machines), public pay telephones, TDD/TTYs (Telecommunication Devices for the Deaf/Teletypewriters) and Free Wireless Internet Service (Wi-Fi). Many plazas also have gift shops, fax machines and Tourism Information Centers.

Please be advised that Thruway Authority travel plazas are posted for a maximum stay of 4 hours and are not designed for multiple day stays. Vehicles left for more than 4 hours at a travel plaza will be towed at the owner's expense.
