Northbound Exit 15 Off-Ramp Will Close at Night for Pavement Repairs in New Jersey

Northbound Motorists Should Follow Posted Detour to Access I-287 to New Jersey

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that the northbound Thruway (I-87) exit 15 off-ramp to New Jersey (I-287 - NJ Route 17 South) will close at 11 p.m. Saturday, June 18, until 6 a.m. Sunday for concrete pavement repairs in New Jersey.

Northbound motorists seeking to access I-287 or Route 17 in New Jersey should follow the posted detour to exit 15A (Sloatsburg - Suffern - NY Routes 17 North & 59) to enter the southbound Thruway via Orange Turnpike and Old Route 17. Variable Message Signs will be activated ahead of the work zone to alert motorists of the closure and detour.

The work is weather permitting and subject to change.
