TRAVEL ADVISORY – WESTCHESTER COUNTY: SOUTHBOUND I-87 EXIT 7A RAMP TO SAW MILL RIVER PARKWAY TO CLOSE OVERNIGHT THIS WEEK

Ramp Will Be Closed from 11 p.m. Until 5 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday Nights

Motorists Should Follow Posted Detour to Saw Mill River Parkway

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that the southbound I-87 exit 7A ramp (Saw Mill River Parkway - Taconic State Parkway) to the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Greenburgh will close overnight Tuesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 31. The ramp will be closed from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day to facilitate maintenance activities.

Motorists should follow the posted detour to the southbound I-87 exit 8A ramp (Elmsford - NY Route 119 - Saw Mill River Parkway North), which will direct them to the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway using Route 119 and Valley Avenue in Elmsford. A Variable Message Sign has been activated ahead of the work zone to alert motorists of the closure and detour.

All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
