TRAVEL ADVISORY – WESTCHESTER COUNTY: SOUTHBOUND I-87 EXIT 7A RAMP TO SAW MILL RIVER PARKWAY TO CLOSE OVERNIGHT NEXT WEEK

Ramp Will Be Closed from 11 p.m. Until 5 a.m. Three Nights Next Week

Motorists Should Follow Posted Detour to Saw Mill River Parkway

Snow This Week Resulted in Work Needing to be Rescheduled

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that the southbound I-87 exit 7A ramp (Saw Mill River Parkway - Taconic State Parkway) to the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Greenburgh will close overnight on Monday, March 14, Tuesday, March 15, and Thursday, March 17. The ramp will be closed from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day to facilitate maintenance activities. The work was originally expected to take place this week but had to be rescheduled due to snow.

Motorists should follow the posted detour to the southbound I-87 exit 8A ramp (Elmsford - NY Route 119 - Saw Mill River Parkway North), which will direct them to the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway using Route 119 and Valley Avenue in Elmsford. A Variable Message Sign has been activated ahead of the work zone to alert motorists of the closure and detour.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
