TRAVEL ADVISORY – WESTCHESTER COUNTY: THRUWAY EXITS TO CLOSE OVERNIGHT THIS WEEK FOR MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES
Northbound Exit 3 Will Close on Wednesday Night and Northbound Exit 4 on Thursday Night
Northbound Motorists Should Follow Posted Detour

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that two northbound Thruway (I-87) exits in Yonkers will close overnight this week for maintenance activities.

The exit 3 off-ramp (Mile Square Road) will close at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, and reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday. Motorists should follow the posted detour to exit 2 (Yonkers Avenue – Raceway).

The exit 4 off-ramp (Cross County Parkway – Mile Square Road) will close at 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, and reopen by 5 a.m. Friday. Motorists should follow the posted detour to exit 3.

Variable Message Signs will be activated ahead of the work zone to alert motorists of the closures and detours.
