PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION FOR BEAVER ISLAND PARKWAY BRIDGE REPLACEMENT OVER THE NIAGARA THRUWAY (I-190) IN ERIE COUNTY

The New York State Thruway Authority will hold a public information session regarding the replacement of the Beaver Island Parkway Bridge over the Niagara Thruway (I-190) in the Town of Grand Island.

The bridge, built in 1954, is at the end of its service life and will be replaced with a new structure that meets current standards. The new bridge will feature wider travel lanes and emergency shoulders, increased vertical clearance, new guiderail, and new riding surface.

The public information session will include several renderings on display, and representatives from the Thruway Authority will be available to answer questions about the project.
