PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT OVER THE THRUWAY (I-90) IN ALBANY COUNTY

The New York State Thruway Authority will hold a public information session regarding the replacement of the Old State Road Bridge over the Thruway (I-90) in the Town of Guilderland.

The new bridge will have increased clearance so that it meets current standards with wider travel lanes and shoulders. This project also includes the reconstruction of the approach on both sides of the bridge. The existing bridge was built in 1955 and carries approximately 5,300 vehicles per day.

The public information session will include several renderings on display, and representatives from the Thruway Authority will be available to answer questions about the project.
