Rochester Regional Advisory Message

Coverage area: I-90 Thruway from Exit 39 (Syracuse/Fulton) to Exit 53 (Buffalo/Downtown)

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for Rochester. OK, it's traffic time On I-90 - NYS Thruway eastbound between I-190 - Buffalo - Exit 53 and Walden Ave - Exit 52 - Road maintenance work is in progress, The left lane is closed, The center lane is closed until today at about 7:30AM On I-90 - NYS Thruway westbound between Geneva - Exit 42 - and Manchester - Exit 43 - Road maintenance work is in progress, The right lane is closed until today at about 9:30AM On I-90 - NYS Thruway westbound between Geneva - Exit 42 - and Canandaigua - Exit 44 - Road maintenance work is in progress, The right lane is closed until today at about 8:00AM On I-90 - NYS Thruway westbound between Buffalo - Exit 51 - and William St - Exit 52A - Road maintenance work is in progress, The left lane is closed until today at about 7:30AM . And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway in the Rochester region�For the week starting Monday, October 16th�.

ON INTERSTATE 90
Overnight alternating lane closures will be in place for bridge repair work Eastbound between Exit 45 (Victor) and Exit 46 (Corning) Monday from 6am to 3pm.

Daytime alternating lane and shoulder closures will be in place for bridge work east and westbound between Exit 47 (Leroy) and Exit 48 (Batavia), Thursday from 5am to 3pm..

Overnight alternating lane closures will be in place for road work between Exit 47 (Leroy) and Exit 48 (Batavia) Westbound Monday and Wednesday from 7pm to 7am and eastbound Tuesday 7pm to 7am.

In addition to this work, motorists can expect to see Various Personnel along the entire length of the Thruway performing regular maintenance and construction work.

So�Please move over or slow down before entering these Thruway Work-Zones and remember to obey all posted Work-Zone speed limits.

For driver�s safety, as well as the safety of our construction and maintenance workers, most work-zone speed limits will be posted at 55MPH and strictly enforced by State Police.

And�Please remember to slow down and use caution when entering Thruway Toll Plazas.

Keep in mind that it is necessary for toll personnel to cross lanes from time to time.
