Rochester Regional Advisory Message

Coverage area: I-90 Thruway from Exit 39 (Syracuse/Fulton) to Exit 53 (Buffalo/Downtown)

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for Rochester. OK, it's traffic time On I-90 - NYS Thruway westbound at Cleveland Dr - Exit 50A - Road maintenance work is in progress, The entrance ramp is closed until October 1 On I-90 - NYS Thruway westbound at milepost 428, between West Seneca - Exit 54 - and Orchard Pk - Exit 55 - Look out for an accident And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway in the Buffalo/Erie region�For the week ending March 27th:

On Interstate 90:
Overnight lane closures will be in place for road work between the Wiliamsville Toll Barrier and Exit 51 (Buffalo Airport NY Route 33) Monday through Friday from 7PM to 5AM.

Overnight lane closures will be in place for bridge inspection work east and westbound between 57A (Eden-Angola) exit 58 (Silver Creek) Tuesday from 7AM to 2PM.

A left lane closures will be in place for bridge work, east and westbound between Exit 58 (Silver Creek) and Exit 59 (Dunkirk-Fredonia) Monday through Thursday from 7AM to 5PM and Friday from 7AM to 2PM.

On Interstate 190:
Overnight Lane closures will be in place for bridge work on the North Grand Island Bridge southbound Tuesday through Friday from 8PM to 6AM each night.

A right lane closure will remain in place until further notice on Exit 9 (Porter Avenue) southbound. The ramp will remain open at all times.

Construction work continues at the Exit 9 (Peace Bridge-Porter Avenue) northbound off-ramp. The off-ramp will remain in a single lane pattern until further notice.

Overnight closures are scheduled for the Busti Avenue On-Ramp to the I-190 southbound, Monday through Friday from 7PM to 6AM. A Lane Closure will remain in place on the Busti Ramp until further notice.

In addition to these projects, motorists can expect to see Thruway Personnel along the entire length of the Thruway performing routine maintenance. Please use caution when traveling through highway construction zones and remember to obey all posted work zone speed limits.

For your safety, as well as the safety of our construction and maintenance workers, most work zone speed limits will be posted at 45MPH and strictly enforced by State Police.
