Coverage area: I-87 Thruway from the NY City Line to Exit 19 (Kingston), Garden State Parkway (GSP) Connector, I-95 New England Thruway and I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for the New York area. OK, it's traffic time On I-87 - NYS Thruway northbound between Yonkers - Exit 3 - and Yonkers - Exit 6 - Road maintenance work is in progress, The left lane is closed until today at about 5:00AM On I-87 - NYS Thruway in both directions between Tappan Zee Bridge Toll Barrier and South Nyack - Exit 10 - Speed restrictions are in force, The road is wet. Speed 45 mph, speed limit 45 miles per hour And now for some public service announcements The New York State Thruway would like to remind motorist that construction, and maintenance personnel will be working along the entire length of the Thruway, performing routine, and scheduled construction work.
Motorist should use caution when traveling through construction zones, and obey all posted work zone speed limits. For your safety, as well as the safety of our construction, and maintenance workers, most of the work zone speed limits will be posted at 55 mph, and will be strictly enforced, by State Police.
As always, remember to wear your seatbelts, and have a safe, and enjoyable trip.
