New York Regional Advisory Message

Coverage area: I-87 Thruway from the NY City Line to Exit 19 (Kingston), Garden State Parkway (GSP) Connector, I-95 New England Thruway and I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for the New York area. OK, it's traffic time Currently, there are no traffic reports Here come some Internal promotions . And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway, for the Lower Hudson Valley region´┐ŻFor this week starting November 24th.

On I-87
Daytime Lane closures will be in place for Road Work north and southbound between Exit 8A (Elmsford - NY Route 119/Saw Mill River Parkway North) and Exit 11(Nyack/South Nyack)Monday through Friday from 9AM-3PM. Additionally overnight double lane closure will be in place northbound, Tuesday from 8PM-5AM and a triple lane closure northbound, Friday from 8PM-5AM.
Also a southbound triple lane closure will be in place Saturday from 9PM-7AM. The Exit 10 northbound off-ramp will also be closed Friday from 10PM-4:30AM, with a detour in place.

ON I-95
Overnight Double Lane Closures will be in place north and southbound between Exit 9 (Hutchison River Parkway) and Exit 8 (Port Chester-Rye-Midland Avenue) overnight double lane closures, Monday to Friday from 8PM to 7AM.


In addition to these projects, motorists can expect to see Thruway Personnel along the entire length of the Thruway performing routine maintenance. Please use caution when traveling through highway construction zones and remember to obey all posted work zone speed limits.

For your safety, as well as the safety of our construction and maintenance workers, most work zone speed limits will be posted at 45MPH and strictly enforced by State Police.

Please remember to use caution when entering Toll Plazas. Be aware that it is necessary for toll personnel to cross lanes from time to time.
