Coverage area: I-87 Thruway from the NY City Line to Exit 19 (Kingston), Garden State Parkway (GSP) Connector, I-95 New England Thruway and I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for the New York area. OK, it's traffic time On I-87 - NYS Thruway northbound at milepost 7.3, between Yonkers Toll Barrier and Ardsley - Exit 7 - Look out for debris on the roadway On I-87 - NYS Thruway northbound between Yonkers Toll Barrier and Saw Mill River Parkway - Exit 7A - Road maintenance work is in progress, The left lane is closed On I-87 - NYS Thruway northbound between Saw Mill River Parkway - Exit 8 and 8A - and South Nyack - Exit 10 - Traffic is stop and go, Traffic is stopped, Expect delays On I-87 - NYS Thruway southbound between Spring Valley Toll Barrier and Palisades Interstate Parkway - Exit 13 - Traffic is stop and go, Traffic is stopped, Expect delays With the ongoing construction of the Tappan Zee Bridge, motorists are advised to keep their eyes on the roadway, avoid distractions, and tailgating other vehicles. Views of the new bridge construction can be seen on the New New York Bridge project website and viewing platform in Tarrytown. . And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway, for the Lower Hudson Valley region, for the week ending June 30, 2017.

Road work on I-87 between Saw Mill River Parkway � Taconic State Parkway, Exit 7A and New Jersey � Palisades Interstate Parkway � Bear Mountain State Park, Exit 13N/13S will require daytime north and southbound single lane closures Monday-Friday from 7AM to 3PM.

Bridge work on I-87 between Spring Valley � Nanuet �NY Route 59, Exit 14 and Airmont - Montebello � Airmont Road, Exit 14B will require daytime northbound single lane closures Monday-Friday from 10AM to 12PM.

Bridge work on I-87 between Newburgh � Scranton � I-84 - NY Routes 17K and 300, Exit 17 and New Paultz � Poughkeepsie � NY Route 299, Exit 18 will require daytime north and southbound single lane closures Monday-Friday from 6AM to 4PM.

Bridge work on I-287 between the New York State Thruway (I-87) and New York City - Taconic State Parkway � Sprain Brook Parkway, Exit 3 will require daytime westbound single lane closures Monday- Friday from 10AM to 2PM.

Road work on I-95 between New Rochelle � North Ave � Cedar Street, Exit 16 and the Connecticut State Line � Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) will require daytime north and southbound single lane closure Monday-Friday from 9AM to 2:30PM.

And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway, for the Hudson Valley region, for the week ending June 30, 2017.

Road work on I-87 between Saw Mill River Parkway � Taconic State Parkway, Exit 7A and New Jersey � Palisades Interstate Parkway � Bear Mountain State Park, Exit 13N/13S will require daytime north and southbound single lane closures Monday-Friday from 7AM to 3PM

Bridge work on I-87 between Spring Valley � Nanuet �NY Route 59, Exit 14 and Airmont - Montebello � Airmont Road, Exit 14B will require daytime northbound single lane closures Monday-Friday from 10AM to 12PM.

Bridge work on I-87 between Newburgh � Scranton � I-84 - NY Routes A long term closure of the I-95 Exit 16 (New Rochelle/North Avenue/Cedar Street) southbound on-ramp will begin Tuesday, December 15, at 10AM, and continue for the duration of the winter season.
Ongoing bridge, and pavement repairs in the vicinity of the Exit 16 southbound on-ramp will force the closure of the ramp, due to the lack of an acceleration lane for entering traffic. All traffic seeking to enter I-95 southbound, will be detoured via Memorial Highway to the Memorial Highway southbound entrance ramp.
