Hudson Valley Regional Advisory Message
Coverage area: I-87 Thruway from Exit 16 (Harriman) to Exit 21A (I-90 East/Massachusetts Turnpike) and I-84

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for the Hudson Valley. OK, it's traffic time On I-87 - NYS Thruway northbound between New Paltz - Exit 18 - and Kingston - Exit 19 - Road maintenance work is in progress, The left lane is closed until today at about 8:00AM On I-87 - NYS Thruway northbound between Kingston - Exit 19 - and Catskill - Exit 21 - Road maintenance work is in progress, The right lane is closed until today at about 5:00AM On I-87 - NYS Thruway northbound between Coxsackie - Exit 21B - and Berkshire Connector - Exit 21A - Road maintenance work is in progress, The right lane is closed until tomorrow at about 11:00AM And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway, for the Hudson Valley region, for the week ending October 9th:
Road work on I-87 between Saw Mill Parkway � Taconic State Parkway, Exit 7A and Airmont � Montebello � Airmont Road, Exit 14B will require north and southbound daytime single lane closures Monday � Thursday from 6AM to 4PM. There will also be north and southbound overnight single and double lane closures Monday � Friday from 7PM to 7AM. Southbound Access A Ramp, S Broadway to southbound I-87 will be closed on Thursday from 10PM to 5AM. A detour will be in place.
Road work on I-87 between New Jersey � Garden State Parkway, Exit 14A and Harriman/Woodbury, Exit 16 will require north and southbound daytime single and double lane closures Tuesday and Thursday from 10AM to 2PM. There will also be north and southbound overnight single and double lane closures Monday � Thursday from 7PM to 7AM, as well as overnight single and double lane closures on the northbound Exit 15 On Ramp, Rt. 17 to northbound I-87, Wednesday � Friday from 8PM to 6AM. The northbound Exit 15 On Ramp will remain open at all times. � With the ongoing construction of the Tappan Zee Bridge, motorists are advised to keep their eyes on the roadway, avoid distractions, and tailgating other vehicles. Views of the new bridge construction can be seen on the New New York Bridge project website and viewing platform in Tarrytown. � And now for some public service announcements Attention motorists, the New York Bound George Washington Bridge will have construction that will leave only one open on the upper level expressway, Monday and Tuesday nights, from 11 pm until 5 am the next morning. Motorists can anticipate delays and may wish to consider an alternate route.
