Hudson Valley Regional Advisory Message

Coverage area: I-87 Thruway from Exit 16 (Harriman) to Exit 21A (I-90 East/Massachusetts Turnpike) and I-84

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for the Hudson Valley. OK, it's traffic time On I-87 - NYS Thruway northbound at milepost 80.5, between New Paltz - Exit 18 - and Kingston - Exit 19 - There is a vehicle on fire With the ongoing construction of the Tappan Zee Bridge, motorists are advised to keep their eyes on the roadway, avoid distractions, and tailgating other vehicles. Views of the new bridge construction can be seen on the New New York Bridge project website and viewing platform in Tarrytown. And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway, for the Hudson Valley region, for the week ending August 7, 2016.

Road work on I-87 between Tarrytown � Sleepy Hollow � US Route 9, Exit 9 and Nyack � South Nyack � US Route 9W, Exit 11 will require north and southbound daytime single lane closures Monday � Friday from 9AM to 3PM.

Road work on I-87 between New Jersey � Palisades Interstate Parkway � Bear Mountain State Park, Exit 13N/13S and Airmont � Montebello � Airmont Road, Exit 14B will require north and southbound overnight single lane closures Monday - Friday from 7PM to 5AM.

Bridge work on I-87 between Sloatsburg � Suffern � NY Routes 17 North and 59, Exit 15A and Newburgh � Scranton � I-84 � NY Routes 17K and 300, Exit 17 will require north and southbound daytime single lane closures Monday � Friday from 5AM to 5PM.

Bridge inspection on I-87 between Newburgh � Scranton I-84 � NY Routes 17K and 300, Exit 17 and New Paltz � Poughkeepsie � NY Route 299, Exit 18 will require a southbound daytime single lane closure on Wednesday from 10:30AM � 11:30AM.
