New York Regional Advisory Message

Coverage area: I-87 Thruway from the NY City Line to Exit 19 (Kingston), Garden State Parkway (GSP) Connector, I-95 New England Thruway and I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for the New York area. OK, it's traffic time On I-95 - New England Thruway southbound between New Rochelle - Exit 15 - and Bruckner Expressway Road maintenance work is in progress, The left lane is closed until tomorrow at about 7:00AM On I-287 - Cross Westchester Expwy eastbound between Hutchinson River Parkway - Exit 9 - and Portchester - Exit 11 - Road maintenance work is in progress, The right lane is closed until tomorrow at about 6:00AM And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway, for the Hudson Valley region, for the week ending December 19, 2014.

Bridge work on I-87, between Harriman, Exit 16 and Newburgh, Exit 17, will require north and southbound lane closures, Monday to Thursday from 9AM to 5PM.

Road Work on I-87, between Elmsford, Exit 8A and Nyack/South Nyack, Exit 11 will require north and southbound daytime lane closures, Monday to Friday from 9AM to 3PM. There will be an overnight triple lane closure southbound, Friday from 9PM to7AM.

Road Work on I-87, between NJ I-287 South/NJ Route 17 South, Exit 15 and Harriman/Woodbury, Exit 16 will require daytime lane closures north and southbound, Monday to Friday from 9AM to 3:30PM. There will also be overnight double lane closures in both directions, Monday to Friday from 7PM to 7AM.

Roadwork on the Garden State Parkway Connector between the Thruway and the New Jersey State Line will require north and southbound single lane closures, Monday to Thursday from 10AM to 3PM.
And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway, for the Lower Hudson Valley region, for the week ending December 19, 2014.

Bridge repairs on I-287 from Hartsdale-Knollwood Road, Exit 4 and White Plains-North White Plains-Broadway, Exit 6 will require overnight double lane closures westbound Monday through Friday from 10PM to 6AM.

Roadwork on I-95, between the Hutchison River Parkway, Exit 9 and Port Chester-Rye-Midland Avenue, Exit 22 will require overnight northbound and southbound double lane closures, Monday to Friday from 8PM to 7AM.

Albany Regional Advisory Message

Coverage area: I-87/I-90 Thruway from Exit 18 (New Paltz) to Exit 29A (Little Falls) and I-90 Berkshire Connector

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for Albany. Now, for the urgent reports The Albany County Sheriff's Office has activated the New York State AMBER Alert, and is,
investigating a child abduction, that occurred on Thatcher Park Road, in Berne, NY at about 1:20 PM
on 12/18/2014.
The CHILD, Kenneth White is a White male, approximately 5 years old with short, brown hair
and brown eyes. He is approximately 3 feet 5 inches and weighs about 45 pounds. Kenneth was last
seen wearing Jeans and checkered white short sleave shirt.
The SUSPECT, is a White male. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. The suspect was last
seen wearing black clothing, including a ski mask, black boots, and black gloves. There was a
second suspect, unknown race, wearing similar clothing.
The VEHICLE has been identified as a blue G M C sierra pickup truck.

The VEHICLE was last seen traveling on Thatcher Park Road.
Two suspects wearing all black and ski masks, forced entry into a home and abducted 5 year old
victim. They fled the scene in an unknown make 4?door pickup truck color black.

A Lane closure will be in place for road work southbound between Exit 18 (New Paltz) and Exit (19) Kingston) Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

A Lane closure will be in place for Bridge work southbound between Exit 21 (Catskill) and Exit 20 (Saugerties), Tuesday through Saturday 7AM to 2PM.

A Lane closure will be in place for Pavement repairs northbound between Exit 22 (Selkirk) and Exit 23 (Albany I-787) Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 2PM.

On Interstate 90:

Lane closures will be in place for road work westbound between Exit 28 (Fultonville � NY Route 30A) and Exit 29 (Canajoharie) Monday through Friday from 7AM to 6PM.

In addition to these projects, motorists can expect to see Thruway Personnel along the entire length of the Thruway performing routine maintenance. Please use caution when traveling through highway construction zones and remember to obey all posted work zone speed limits.

For your safety, as well as the safety of our construction and maintenance workers, most work zone speed limits will be posted at 45MPH and strictly enforced by State Police.

Please remember to use caution when entering Toll Plazas. Be aware that it is necessary for toll personnel to cross lanes from time to time.

As always, remember to wear you seatbelts and have a safe and enjoyable trip.

Buffalo Regional Advisory Message

Coverage area: I-90 Thruway from Exit 45 (Rochester/Victor) to the NY/Pennsylvania State Line and I-190 Niagara Thruway

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for Buffalo. OK, it's traffic time Currently, there are no traffic reports And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway in the Buffalo/Erie region for the week ending December 19th.

On Interstate 90:

Daytime lane closures will be in place for road work westbound between Exit 48 (Batavia) and Exit 47 (Leroy) Monday through Thursday from 7AM to 3PM and Friday from 7AM to 11AM.

On Interstate 190:

A right lane closure will remain in place until further notice on Exit 9 (Porter Avenue) southbound. The ramp will remain open at all times.
Also, a right lane closure will remain in place until further notice northbound on Exit 9 (Peace Bridge-Porter Avenue). The ramp will remain open at all times.

In addition to these projects, motorists can expect to see Thruway Personnel along the entire length of the Thruway performing routine maintenance. Please use caution when traveling through highway construction zones and remember to obey all posted work zone speed limits.
