New York Regional Advisory Message

Coverage area: I-87 Thruway from the NY City Line to Exit 19 (Kingston), Garden State Parkway (GSP) Connector, I-95 New England Thruway and I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for the New York area. Now for Travel Time Information, I-87 Northbound from Exit 14A - Garden State Parkway Milepost 24 to Sloatsburg Travel Plaza milepost 33.2, the current estimated travel time is 11 minutes. OK, it's traffic time Currently, there are no traffic reports With the ongoing construction of the Tappan Zee Bridge, motorists are advised to keep their eyes on the roadway, avoid distractions, and tailgating other vehicles. Views of the new bridge construction can be seen on the New New York Bridge project website and viewing platform in Tarrytown. And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway, for the Lower Hudson Valley region, for the week ending March 31, 2017.

Road work on I-87 between Stew Leonard Drive, Exit 6A and Saw Mill River Parkway � Taconic State Parkway, Exit 7A will require southbound single lane closures from Monday� Friday from 9AM to 9PM.

Road work on I-87 between White Plains � Rye � Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287), Exit 8 and Nyack � South Nyack � US Route 9W, Exit 11 will require north and southbound daytime single lane closures Monday-Friday from 9AM to 3PM.

Road work on I-87 between New Jersey � Palisades Interstate Parkway � Bear Mountain State Park, Exit 13N/13S and Airmont � Montebello � Airmont Road, Exit 14B will require north and southbound overnight single lane closures Monday-Friday from 7PM to 5AM.

Bridge work on I-87 between Sloatsburg � Suffern � NY Routes 17 North and 59, Exit 15A and Newburgh � Scranton � I-84 � NY Routes 17K and 300, Exit 17 will require southbound daytime single lane closures Monday-Friday from 9AM to 5PM.

Road work on I-287 between New York State Thruway (I-87) and New York (I-95) South, Exit 12 will require westbound daytime single lane closures Tuesday-Friday from 10AM to 1PM. There will also be eastbound and westbound overnight single and double lane closures Monday � Friday from 8PM to 6AM.

Road work on I-95 between Bruckner Expressway (I-95) and the Connecticut State Line � Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) will require north and southbound daytime single lane closures Tuesday-Friday from 9AM to 2:30PM. There will also be north and southbound overnight single and double lane closures Monday-Friday from 7PM to 9AM.
A long term closure of the I-95 Exit 16 (New Rochelle/North Avenue/Cedar Street) southbound on-ramp will begin Tuesday, December 15, at 10AM, and continue for the duration of the winter season.
Ongoing bridge, and pavement repairs in the vicinity of the Exit 16 southbound on-ramp will force the closure of the ramp, due to the lack of an acceleration lane for entering traffic. All traffic seeking to enter I-95 southbound, will be detoured via Memorial Highway to the Memorial Highway southbound entrance ramp.

Hudson Valley Regional Advisory Message

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for the Hudson Valley. Rochester Regional Advisory Message

Coverage area: I-90 Thruway from Exit 39 (Syracuse/Fulton) to Exit 53 (Buffalo/Downtown)

This is the New York State Thruway Regional Advisory message for Rochester. OK, it's traffic time Currently, there are no traffic reports And now a rundown of the scheduled construction projects on the New York State Thruway in the Rochester region�For the week starting Monday, March 27th�

ON INTERSTATE 90

A daytime left lane closures will be in place for road work east and westbound between Exit 46
(Henrietta � Corning) and Exit 47 (LeRoy) Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

In addition to this road work, motorists can expect to see Various Personnel along the entire length of the Thruway performing regular maintenance and construction work.

So�Please move over or slow down before entering these Thruway Work-Zones and remember to obey all posted Work-Zone speed limits.

For driver�s safety, as well as the safety of our construction and maintenance workers, most work-zone speed limits will be posted at 55MPH and strictly enforced by State Police.

And�Please remember to slow down and use caution when entering Thruway Toll Plazas.

Keep in mind that it is necessary for toll personnel to cross lanes from time to time.

As always, remember to wear your seatbelts and have a safe and enjoyable trip.
