Thruway Authority Announces Woodbury Highway Speed E-ZPass Toll Reconstruction to Necessitate Toll Lane Closures
Northbound Toll Lanes 3 and 4 Will Be Closed

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced as part of the Woodbury Highway Speed E-ZPass Toll Barrier Reconstruction Project, northbound toll lanes 3 and 4 in the Woodbury Toll Plaza, located just north of Interchange 16 (Harriman), will be closed as part of the conversion to highway speed E-ZPass lanes, beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, weather permitting.

Please be advised that toll booths on both the left and right sides of the closed lanes under construction (northbound lanes 3 and 4) will remain open for traffic. Motorists are urged to use both sides of the closed lanes during this phase of the project.

The Authority will activate Variable Message Signs (VMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 530 AM and 1610 AM in order to advise motorists of the closure.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience and understanding while this essential work takes place.
