MEDIA ADVISORY: NOTICE OF THRUWAY AUTHORITY VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARINGS 

The New York State Thruway Authority will hold three virtual public hearings in October 2020 for members of the public to comment on a proposal to adjust tolls on the Thruway beginning January 1, 2021. The meetings will be held virtually through Cisco Webex events and streamed online at thruway.ny.gov.

Members of the public may register at thruway.ny.gov to comment during the virtual public hearings, and provide their name, phone number and valid email address. A confirmation email will sent to speakers with instructions on how to participate in the Webex hearing.
 
Virtual public hearings will be held the following dates and times:

  • Tuesday, October 13
    2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 14
    4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 15
    6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

On each day of the hearing, a link will be available on thruway.ny.gov for individuals who do not wish to submit comments to watch the hearing.
