PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION SCHEDULED FOR REPLACEMENT OF THREE BRIDGES OVER THE THRUWAY IN ROCKLAND COUNTY

The New York State Thruway Authority will hold a public information session regarding the replacement of three bridges in the Town of Ramapo.

The purpose of the project is to remove the Hungry Hollow Road, Scotland Hill Road, and College Road bridges over the Thruway (I-87/I-287) and replace them with new structures which will have numerous upgrades to enhance safety for all motorists and pedestrians including increased vertical clearance to meet current standards which will improve the flow of traffic.

The public information session will include a display of the proposed bridges and related project information. Representatives from the Thruway Authority will be available to answer questions about the project.
