The Thruway Authority today announced that two public information sessions are scheduled for July 12 and July 13, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The July 12 session will discuss the replacement of the bridge carrying Judd Road over the NYS Thruway (I-90) in the Town of Whitestown, Oneida County. The July 13 event will discuss the North Main Street bridge over I-90 in the Village of Canastota, Madison County. The Judd Road information session will be held in Whitesboro, NY and the North Main Street information session will be held in Canastota, NY.

These projects include the replacement of the Judd Road and North Main Street bridges along with other safety related upgrades. Originally built in the 1950s, the bridges will be replaced with new spans that will have an anticipated useful life of 75 years. To accommodate the replacement, the Judd Road and North Main Street bridges are anticipated to be closed to all traffic during construction.

The public information sessions will present information relating to the bridge projects, detour routes, and the opportunity to discuss these projects with representatives from the New York State Thruway Authority.

Parking is available at both locations.
