THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES TWO-WEEK CLOSURE OF SOUTHBOUND EXIT 16 ON-RAMP ON I-95 IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY
Work Scheduled for Monday, October 3 at 10 a.m. Through Tuesday, October 18
The Thruway Authority today announced bridge repair work that will require the closure of the exit 16 (New Rochelle – North Avenue – Cedar Street) on-ramp to I-95 (New England Thruway) southbound in Westchester County. The work is scheduled for Monday morning, October 3 beginning at 10 a.m. through Tuesday, October 18.
All traffic seeking to enter I-95 (New England Thruway) southbound via exit 16 should follow the posted detour routes.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
The Thruway Authority will activate Variable Message Signs (VMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 530 AM to advise motorists of the closure.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience while this essential work is completed.
