THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES OVERNIGHT PAVEMENT REPAIR WORK ON NORTHBOUND I-87/I-287 JUST SOUTH OF THE TAPPAN ZEE BRIDGE IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY
Work Scheduled for Tonight, Wednesday, July 27 Between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Tomorrow Morning
Two Northbound Lanes to Remain Open; Two Northbound Lanes to be Closed for Roadway Repairs
The Thruway Authority today announced pavement repair work that will require overnight northbound lane closures on I-87/I-287 from just south of exit 9 (Tarrytown - Sleepy Hollow - US Route 9) to the approach of the Tappan Zee Bridge tonight, Wednesday, July 27 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. Two northbound lanes will be closed to traffic to accommodate the repair work.
Two northbound lanes will be open to traffic heading toward the Tappan Zee Bridge, and all three southbound lanes will remain open.
Traffic impacts are expected to be minimal.
