THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES OVERNIGHT CLOSURE OF HIGHWAY SPEED E-ZPASS LANES AT SPRING VALLEY TOLL PLAZA
Work Scheduled for Tonight at 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tomorrow Morning
The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that repair work will close all three highway speed E-ZPass lanes at the Spring Valley toll barrier on I-87 northbound in Rockland County between exits 14A (Garden State Parkway Connector) and 14B (Airmont Road) overnight beginning at 11 p.m. tonight, Monday, May 9 until 5 a.m. tomorrow morning.
All traffic, including passenger and commercial vehicles, will be diverted to regular toll lanes. Tolls at this plaza are collected from commercial vehicles only. Passenger vehicles can proceed slowly through the toll lanes.
In case of inclement weather, work may be postponed.
The Thruway Authority will activate Variable Message Signs (VMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 530 AM to advise motorists of the closure.
