THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES OVERNIGHT CLOSURE OF EXIT 9W OFF RAMP FROM THE NORTHBOUND PALISADES INTERSTATE PARKWAY TO THE THRUWAY (I-87/I-287) NORTHBOUND IN THE TOWN OF CLARKSTOWN
Work Scheduled for Tonight Beginning at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tomorrow Morning
The Thruway Authority today announced guiderail repair work that will require the overnight closure of the exit 9W ramp from the northbound Palisades Interstate Parkway to the northbound Thruway (I-87/I-287) in the town of Clarkstown. The work is scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, May 4 beginning at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour. All traffic seeking to enter the Thruway northbound will be detoured to exit 10 on the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Variable message signs and Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
