Work Scheduled for Wednesday, April 13 from 7 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. the Following Morning

The Thruway Authority today announced sign structure replacement work that will require overnight lane closures on I-95 (New England Thruway) in both directions between exit 15 (US Route 1) and exit 16 (North Avenue) beginning on Wednesday, April 13 between 7 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. the following morning.

Motorists can expect brief traffic stoppages during this period to allow for the removal of the current structure and installation of the new structure.

This work is weather dependent and subject to change.

Variable message signs and Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.

The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience while this essential work takes place.
