ONE DAY CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR TWO THRUWAY ON-RAMPS IN UTICA
FOR PAVEMENT REPAIRS
The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that the eastbound I-790 and southbound Genesee Street ramps to the Thruway in Utica will be closed for one day because of scheduled pavement repairs on Wednesday, July 9 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Motorists will still be able to enter the Thruway at all times via the northbound Genesee Street on-ramp. Detour signs highlighting the route will be posted.
In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.
Electronic signboards and Highway Advisory Radio (540 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
