OVERNIGHT WORK WILL CLOSE I-95 EXIT 11 OFF-RAMP TO
BARTOW AVENUE ON JULY 1 AND JULY 2
Work will follow Governor Cuomo's Driver's First Initiative
to minimize traffic disruptions
The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that the northbound I-95 exit 11 ramp to Bartow Avenue/Co-op City Boulevard will be closed for overnight pavement work on July 1 and July 2.
The closure will begin at 10 p.m. and will last through 5 a.m. the following morning on both days.
Traffic will be detoured to exit 13 (Conner Street) and motorists should follow posted detour signs.
In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.
The project will be completed in accordance with the requirements of the Governor’s Driver’s First Initiative, which prioritizes the convenience of motorists and ensures that disruptions are as minimal as possible for drivers at highway and bridge projects across the state.
Electronic signboards and Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled work.
