E-ZPASS ON-THE-GO COMING TO WESTCHESTER’S RIDGE HILL, APRIL 27 AND MAY 3
Travelers Can Purchase Tags for $25

E-ZPass tags will be available for purchase at Westchester’s Ridge Hill in Yonkers on Sunday, April 27, and Saturday, May 3, as part of the New York State Thruway Authority’s E-ZPass On-the-Go mobile sales program.

Customers will be able to purchase E-Z Pass tags between noon on April 27 and May 3, at One Ridge Hill Boulevard.

E-ZPass users avoid delays when traveling through toll plazas, receive a discount on every Thruway toll they pay, and enjoy the convenience of using E-ZPass in 15 states from Maine to North Carolina and New Jersey to Illinois.

“E-ZPass is the fastest, most convenient way for motorists to pay tolls, and E-ZPass On-the-Go is the fastest, most convenient way for motorists to purchase tags,” said Thruway Authority Executive Director Thomas P. Madison. “Every time E-ZPass customers pay a toll along the Thruway, they receive a discount.”

The prepackaged E-ZPass tags can be purchased for $25, with the full $25 purchase price applied to tolls once the tag is registered. Customers can register tags either online or by phone. E-ZPass provides a 5-percent savings on Thruway tolls and offers toll discounts on many other roadways.

The E-ZPass system has been in place on the Thruway for more than 20 years and has saved Thruway motorists more than $177 million in toll discounts. E-ZPass is now accepted in Delaware; Illinois; Indiana; Maine; Maryland; Massachusetts; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; Virginia and West Virginia.
