ALL THRUWAY TRAFFIC TO BE DIVERTED THROUGH SPRING VALLEY TOLL BARRIER FOR ONE-TIME
LATE-NIGHT CLOSURE THURSDAY, APRIL 10, MIDNIGHT TO 4 A.M.
Due to one-time, late-night repair work, all northbound traffic on the New York Thruway (I-87/I-287) in Spring Valley will be diverted through the Spring Valley toll barrier on Thursday, April 10 from midnight to 4 a.m.
There is no toll charged for passenger cars at this location. Commercial vehicles and vehicles with trailers do pay a toll at this toll plaza, which is located at milepost 24.3 in Rockland County.
Under normal conditions, passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles with E-ZPass use the main travel lanes of the Thruway at this location without slowing down from highway speeds. It is these main travel lanes that will be temporarily unavailable during the closure.
In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.
Electronic signboards and Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled work.
