THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES SIGN REPLACEMENT,
LANE CLOSURES, I-95 SOUTHBOUND BETWEEN
 NEW ROCHELLE AND HUTCHINSON RIVER PARKWAY
Work to be performed overnight Wednesday and Thursday

Motorists traveling the New England Thruway (I-95) southbound between exit 15 (Route 1- New Rochelle) and exit 14 (Hutchinson River Parkway) will experience lane closures and brief periodic traffic stops from 11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 through 6 a.m., Thursday, March 6, and from 11 p.m. on Thursday through 6 a.m. on Friday, March 7.

Crews will be replacing a large, overhead sign at milepost 3.2. Motorists can expect lane closures in the vicinity of the work.

In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.

Electronic signboards and Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.

The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled work.
