THRUWAY ANNOUNCES TRAFFIC STOPPAGES ON I-87 NORTHBOUND AND SOUTHBOUND BETWEEN EXIT 15 (SLOATSBURG – SUFFERN)
AND EXIT 16 (HARRIMAN) ON NOVEMBER 19
Motorists traveling northbound and southbound on the New York State Thruway (I-87) between exit 15A (Sloatsburg – Suffer) and exit 16 (Harriman) will experience lane closures and traffic stoppages from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
The stoppages, which will take place for overhead power line utility maintenance, will be limited to no more than 10 minutes.
In the event of inclement weather, this work may be postponed until Wednesday, Nov. 20. Electronic signboards and Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled work.
