TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES AND STOPPAGES BETWEEN EXITS 15 (I-287/ROUTE 17) AND 15A (ROUTE 17 SLOATSBURG – SUFFERN) — TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19 THROUGH WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20
Motorists are advised that the entrance ramp at interchange 15 (I-287/Route 17), to the southbound New York State Thruway (I-87/I-287) will be closed and traffic will be detoured to exit 15A southbound from 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19 through 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
During that time, Thruway personnel will conduct a sign structure replacement at milepost 30.8, and motorists will experience lane closures and periodic traffic stoppages between exit 15 (I-287/Route 17) and exit 15A (Route 17 Sloatsburg – Suffern).
Traffic stoppages will take place from 11 p.m. Tuesday, through 5 a.m. Wednesday, and stops will be limited to no more than 20 minutes. The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled work.
In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed. Electronic signboards and Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
