DURING THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 28
Fuel services will be temporarily suspended for required testing at the Plattekill and Modena Travel Plazas during the week of October 28, the Thruway Authority announced.
The Plattekill suspension is scheduled for October 29 with Modena’s to occur on October 30.
Both suspensions will begin at 9 a.m.
Northbound travelers in need of fuel on October 29, are advised to use the Sloatsburg Travel Plaza located 32 miles south of the Plattekill Travel Plaza, between exit 15A (Sloatsburg) and Exit 16 (Harriman)
Southbound travelers in need of fuel on October 30, are advised to use the Ulster Travel Plaza located 30 miles north of the Modena Travel Plaza, between exit 20 (Saugerties) and exit 19 (Kingston).
Fuel services are expected to be restored later in the day after the required tests are complete.
Restaurant and restroom facilities will continue to operate at both travel plazas during the fuel service suspension.
