FUEL SERVICES TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED FOR REQUIRED TESTING AT RAMAPO TRAVEL PLAZA ON I-87
Fuel services will be temporarily suspended this morning at the Ramapo Travel Plaza on I-87 southbound for routine fuel services testing, the Thruway Authority announced.
The Ramapo Travel Plaza is located at milepost 33 on I-87 southbound between exit 16 (Woodbury Toll Barrier) and exit 15A (Suffern Rt. 17N).
Southbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to use the Modena Travel Plaza located 33 miles north of Ramapo Travel Plaza, between exit 18 (New Paltz) and exit 17 (Newburgh I-84).
Fuel services are expected to be restored later in the day after the required tests are complete.
Restaurant and restroom facilities will continue to operate at the Ramapo Travel Plaza during the fuel service suspension.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this routine testing of the fuel services system.
