FUEL SERVICES TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED FOR REQUIRED TESTING AT ONEIDA TRAVEL PLAZA ON I-90 -- WED., OCT. 9, 9 A.M.
Fuel services will be temporarily suspended at the Oneida Travel Plaza on the New York State Thruway (I-90) eastbound beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, the Thruway Authority announced.
The Oneida Travel Plaza is located on I-90 eastbound between exit 33 (Verona--Rome--Oneida--NY Route 365) and exit 32 (Westmoreland-Rome-NY Route 233).
Eastbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to stop at the DeWitt Travel Plaza between exit 36 (Watertown--Binghamton--I-81) and exit 35 (Syracuse--East Syracuse—NY Route 298). The DeWitt Travel Plaza is located about 36 miles west of the Oneida Travel Plaza.
Fuel services are expected to be restored later in the day after the required tests are complete.
Restaurant and restroom facilities will continue to operate at the Oneida Travel Plaza during the fuel service suspension.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this routine testing of the fuel services system.
