Spring Valley E-ZPass Pattern to Shift Temporarily,
All Traffic to Use Staffed Toll Lanes
Tolls Are not Collected from Passenger Vehicles at the Spring Valley barrier

The highway speed E-ZPass lanes at the Spring Valley Toll Barrier on the Thruway (I-87/287) northbound will be closed temporarily from 11 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, until 5 a.m. Thursday, September 5, for repair work, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.

All traffic, passenger and commercial, will be diverted through the staffed toll lanes at the Spring Valley Toll Barrier which is located at milepost 24.3. Tolls are not collected from passenger vehicles at the Spring Valley barrier.

In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.

Electronic signboards and Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.

The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this time.
