FUEL SERVICES TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED
AT ULSTER TRAVEL PLAZA ON I-87

Restaurant and Restroom Services will not be Interrupted
Fuel services will be temporarily suspended at the Ulster Travel Plaza on the Thruway (I-87) beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, the Thruway Authority announced. Fuel services are expected to be restored later in the day after routine testing of the fuel services system.
Restaurant and restroom facilities will continue to operate during the fuel service suspension.
The Ulster Travel Plaza is located on I-87 southbound between Exit 20 (Saugerties) and Exit 19 (Kingston).
Southbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to stop at the New Baltimore Travel Plaza between Exit 21A (I-90 East – Massachusetts Turnpike) and Exit 21B (Coxsackie). The New Baltimore Travel Plaza is located about 31 miles before the Ulster Travel Plaza.
Additionally, fuel services are available at the Modena Travel Plaza, about 30 miles beyond the Ulster Travel Plaza between Exit 18 (New Paltz) and Exit 17 (Newburgh).
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during the routine testing of the fuel services system.
