THRUWAY AUTHORITY AND CANAL CORPORATION TO HOLD
PUBLIC AUCTION WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17, 9 A.M.
The New York State Thruway Authority and Canal Corporation will hold their first public auction of the year at 9 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, at the Thruway Authority’s Albany Division Facility in Selkirk, located at Exit 22, Route 144 (River Road).
The auction will offer numerous surplus items including passenger cars, pickups, vans, and other vehicles. Bidders will also find a variety of tools, maintenance parts, tires, lawn mowers, backhoes, track loaders, excavators and miscellaneous parts and supplies.
The sale will be held primarily outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Items may be inspected Tuesday, April 16 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on the day of the sale from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

All items offered for sale in this auction have been determined by the New York State Thruway Authority and Canal Corporation to be surplus to their needs. In most cases, such items are non-operational or have exceeded their useful life whereby repairs are no longer cost-effective.
Some items contain information on deficiencies known to the Authority. However, the absence of such information does not mean that deficiencies do not exist nor does it change the terms of the sale which are “as is, where is,” with no guarantee or warranty either express or implied.
