Project part of Governor Cuomo's Driver's First Initiative
to keep traffic disruption to a minimum
The Thruway (I-87) northbound Exit 4 (Yonkers, Cross County Pkwy) off-ramp will be closed for required maintenance work from 11:30 p.m. Monday, Apri1 1 to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
In keeping with the requirements of the Governor's Driver's First Initiative, which prioritizes the convenience of motorists and ensures that disruptions are as minimal as possible for drivers at highway and bridge projects across the state, the ramp work will take place overnight from 11:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Motorists are advised to follow posted detour routes and electronic signboards will provide updates. In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this scheduled maintenance work.
