RAMP CLOSURES SCHEDULED ON I-90 FOR
EXIT 51 (NY ROUTE 33-AIRPORT) AND EXIT 52 (WALDEN AVENUE)
Project in line with Governor Cuomo's Driver's First Initiative
to keep traffic disruption to a minimum
The on-ramps and off-ramps of the New York State Thruway (I-90) at exit 51 (NY Route 33-Airport) and exit 52 (Walden Avenue) will be closed in both directions for barrier repair work during the late night and early morning hours beginning Sunday, March 24, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
In keeping with the requirements of the Governor's Driver's First Initiative, which prioritizes the convenience of motorists and ensures that disruptions are as minimal as possible for drivers at highway and bridge projects across the state, ramp work is scheduled from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday, March 24 through Friday, March 29. Motorists are advised to follow posted detour routes, and electronic signboards will provide updates. In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this scheduled repair work.
