FUEL SERVICES TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED AT SLOATSBURG
TRAVEL PLAZA ON I-87 TUES., MARCH 12, 7 a.m.
Restaurant and Restroom Services will not be Interrupted
Fuel services will be temporarily suspended at the Sloatsburg Travel Plaza on the New York State Thruway (I-87) beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, the Thruway Authority announced. Fuel services are expected to be restored later in the day after routine testing of the fuel services system.
Restaurant and restroom facilities will continue to operate during the fuel service suspension.
The Sloatsburg Travel Plaza is located on I-87 northbound just beyond Exit 15A (Sloatsburg).
Northbound motorists in need of fuel are advised to stop at the Plattekill Travel Plaza between Exit 17 (Newburgh) and Exit 18 (New Paltz). The Plattekill Travel Plaza is located approximately 32 miles north of the Sloatsburg Travel Plaza.
Additionally, fuel services are available at the Ardsley Travel Plaza located between the Yonkers Toll Barrier and Exit 7 (Ardsley). The Ardsley Travel Plaza is located approximately 27 miles before the Sloatsburg Travel Plaza.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this routine testing of the fuel services system.
