Overnight Traffic Stops on Northbound South Grand Island Bridge
Mon. Dec. 17 – Wed. Dec. 19
Brief overnight traffic stops are scheduled at the northbound South Grand Island Bridge Toll Plaza from 11:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Monday, December 17 through Wednesday, December 19, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
The stops are expected to last approximately 10 minutes while crews place overhead lane signals on the bridge. In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.
New York State Police and Thruway Authority personnel will be on-site to ensure all lanes will reopen as conditions safely permit.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled maintenance work.
