Prepaid E-ZPass Tags Make a Great Stocking Stuffer;
Just $25, and Available at More Than 580 Locations Around the State
Looking to save your loved ones time and money this holiday season as they travel on the New York State Thruway? Consider buying them a prepaid E-ZPass tag for just $25.
“E-ZPass tags make great gifts because they immediately save drivers money, allow for faster and simpler travel through toll booths, and help reduce congestion at each exit,” said New York State Thruway Authority Executive Director Thomas J. Madison.
The tags have a $25 value and are active upon purchase, with $15 immediately available for toll usage, and the remaining $10 credited once the tag is registered.
E-ZPass users get a discount of five percent on all Thruway tolls and it is accepted in 14 states throughout the northeastern United States. Currently more than two-thirds of all Thruway customers use E-ZPass.
Prepaid tags are available at more than 580 E-ZPass On-the-Go retail locations across the state, including grocery stores, gas stations and convenience stores, many county clerk and Department of Motor Vehicle offices, AAA travel centers, auto dealers, college bookstores, and at Thruway Travel Plazas.
