Tuesday Nov. 20, Overnight Delays on I-87
Southbound in Rockland County
HARRIMAN -- Motorists on the Thruway (I-87) southbound between Exit 16 (Harriman) and Exit 15A (Sloatsburg, Suffern) are advised that there will be a traffic pattern shift with temporary traffic stops during the evening and overnight hours of Tuesday November 20, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
The traffic pattern shift, to return the roadway to its normal configuration, will be established between Exit 16 (Harriman) and Exit 15A (Sloatsburg, Suffern) from 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 20 to 2 a.m. Wednesday, November 21.
The traffic shift will necessitate multiple traffic stops, which are scheduled to last no more than 20 minutes each.
Electronic signboards will update motorists about expected delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled work.
