Thruway Authority and Canal Corporation To Hold  
Public Equipment Auction - Wed., Nov. 14, 9 a.m.

The New York State Thruway Authority and Canal Corporation will hold their fourth public auction of the year on Wednesday, November 14 at 9 a.m., at the Thruway Authority’s Albany Division Facility in Selkirk, N.Y., located at Exit 22, Route 144 (River Road).

The auction will offer over a hundred surplus items including snow plows, dump trucks, SUVs, passenger cars, and other vehicles. Bidders will also find a variety of mowers, spreaders, emergency generators, maintenance equipment and miscellaneous parts/supplies.

The sale will be held primarily outdoors regardless of weather conditions.  Items may be inspected Tuesday, November 13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on the day of the sale from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.  Detailed information about the items to be auctioned is available on the Thruway Authority’s website at: http://www.thruway.ny.gov/business/purchasing/auction/.

Free hard copies of the Auction Book, with this same information, may be obtained at the Thruway Authority’s Administrative Headquarters Building at 200 Southern Blvd., Albany, or by calling (518) 436-2749.
