Fuel Services Temporarily Suspended at Plattekill Travel Plaza on I-87 -- Tues., October 23, 9 a.m.
Restaurant and Restroom Services will not be Interrupted
PLATTEKILL – Fuel services will be temporarily suspended at the Plattekill Travel Plaza on I-87 northbound beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, the New York State Thruway Authority announced. Following required routine fuel line testing, fuel services are expected to be restored later in the afternoon that same day.
Restaurant and restroom facilities will continue to operate at Plattekill Travel Plaza during the fuel service suspension.
The Plattekill Travel Plaza is located at milepost 65 on I-87 northbound, between Exit 17 (Newburgh) and Exit 18 (New Paltz).
Northbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to use the Sloatsburg Travel Plaza located 32 miles south of the Plattekill Travel Plaza, between Exit 15A (Sloatsburg) and Exit 16 (Harriman).
Fuel services are also available on I-87 northbound at the Malden Travel Plaza 38 miles north of the Plattekill Travel Plaza, between Exit 20 (Saugerties) and Exit 21 (Catskill).
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this routine fuel line testing.
