Overnight Work Scheduled for I-95 Exit 21-22 Ramps Oct. 23 through Oct. 26
PORT CHESTER – Motorists using Exit 21 and Exit 22 on the New England Thruway (I-95) will experience temporary delays between Oct. 23 and Oct. 26 because of required repair work on access ramps, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
All work is scheduled overnight. Access to I-287 and the Tappan Zee Bridge will not be affected. The schedule below is weather permitting.
Tuesday, October 23, and Wednesday, October 24
The off-ramp from southbound I-95 to Midland Avenue, Exit 21 (Port Chester, Rye) will be closed between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, and again between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, and 1:30 a.m. Thursday, October 25.
Thursday, October 25
The on-ramp to southbound I-95 and westbound I-287 from Midland Avenue will be closed between 1:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Thursday, October 25.
Thursday, October 25, and Friday, October 26
The on-ramp to northbound I-95 from Midland Avenue will be closed from 10:30 p.m. Thursday, October 25, to 1:30 a.m. Friday, October 26, and again from 10:30 p.m. Friday, October 26, to 1:30 a.m. Saturday, October 27.
Friday, October 26
The off-ramp from northbound I-95 to Exit 22 (Port Chester, Midland Avenue) will be closed between 1:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., on Friday, October 26.
Electronic signboards and the Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays and alternate routes.
