UPDATE 6:15 P.M.: All Lanes Open Eastbound 90 At Exit 53 (Downtown-Buffalo)
Traffic Returned to Normal
BUFFALO -- All Lanes are now open eastbound on the Thruway (I-90) at Exit 53 (Downtown-Buffalo) and traffic has returned to normal, the New York State Thruway Authority announced today.
An earlier tractor trailer fire had all lanes blocked eastbound.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this incident.
