Tues. Oct. 2, 9 a.m. -- Fuel Services Temporarily Suspended at
DeWitt Travel Plaza on I-90
Restaurant and Restroom Services Remain Available
SYRACUSE – Fuel services will be temporarily suspended at the DeWitt Travel Plaza on I-90 eastbound beginning at 9 a.m., Tuesday, October 2, the New York State Thruway Authority announced. Following required routine fuel system testing, fuel services are expected to be restored later in the afternoon on the same day.
Restroom and restaurant facilities will continue to operate at DeWitt Travel Plaza during service suspension.
The DeWitt Travel Plaza is located at milepost 280 on I-90 eastbound between Exit 36 (Watertown, Binghamton) and Exit 35 (Syracuse, East Syracuse).
Eastbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to use the Port Byron Travel Plaza located 30 miles west of the DeWitt Travel Plaza at milepost 310, between Exit 41 (Waterloo, Clyde) and Exit 40 (Weedsport, Auburn).
Fuel services on eastbound I-90 also will be available at the Oneida Travel Plaza located 36 miles east of the DeWitt Travel Plaza at milepost 244, between Exit 33 (Verona, Rome) and Exit 32 (Westmoreland, Rome).
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this required fuel system testing.
