Fuel Services Will Be Temporarily Suspended at Chittenango Travel Plaza
Restaurant and Restroom Services Remain Available
SYRACUSE – Fuel services will be temporarily suspended at the Chittenango Travel Plaza on I-90 westbound beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, the New York State Thruway Authority announced. Following required routine fuel line testing, fuel services are expected to be restored later in the afternoon on the same day.
Restroom and restaurant facilities will continue to operate at Chittenango Travel Plaza during the fuel service suspension.
The Chittenango Travel Plaza is located at milepost 266 on I-90 westbound, between Exit 34 (Canastota, NY Route 13) and Exit 34A (Syracuse, I-481).
Westbound motorists in need of fuel services are advised to use at the Schuyler Travel Plaza, located 39 miles prior to the Chittenango Travel Plaza, at milepost 227, between Exit 30 (Herkimer, Mohawk, NY Route 28) and Exit 31 (Utica, NY Routes & & 12, I-790); or at the Warners Travel Plaza, located 26 miles beyond Chittenango Travel Plaza, at milepost 292, between Exit 39 (Syracuse, Fulton, I-690) and Exit 40 ( Weedsport, Auburn, NY Route 34).
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this routine fuel line testing.
