I-87 Exit 2 On-Ramp Temporarily Closed Monday
Motorists Should Follow Alternate Route
YONKERS -- The on ramp from Central Park Avenue to the New York State Thruway (I-87) southbound at Exit 2 (Yonkers Ave., Raceway) will be closed temporarily for maintenance work on Monday, September 10, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
The closure will take place, Monday, September 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., weather permitting.
Southbound motorists are advised to proceed straight on Central Park Avenue (Route100)
for approximately 1 mile to access the next I-87 on-ramp.
Electronic message boards and the Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled work.
