I-87 Ramp in White Plains to Close
Motorists Should Use Exit 4
WHITE PLAINS - - Motorists on the New York State Thruway (I-87) northbound are advised that the Exit 5 (White Plains-Central Park Avenue) ramp will be closed temporarily to replace overhead signs, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
The closure will take place 11 p.m., Thursday, August 30, through 5 a.m., Friday, August 31, weather permitting.
Northbound motorists are advised to use Exit 4 (Cross County Parkway, Mile Square Road).
Electronic message boards and the Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled work.
