Temporary Traffic Stops on I-95 Southbound
Night Work Slated for New Signs in Bronx
BRONX -- Motorists on the New England Thruway (I-95) southbound may encounter temporary lane closures on the night of August 29, for the installation of new signs, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
The construction activity will take place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Exit 10 (Gun Hill Road) and Exit 11 (Baychester Avenue) on August 29.
The sign installation will necessitate multiple traffic stops. The traffic stops are scheduled to last no more than 20 minutes each.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled event.
